The following types of bicycles are considered hand luggage and do not require a ticket:
- folded folding bicycles,
- bicycle trailers,
- bicycles for children under 6 years of age,
- racing trolleys (including those with a system for attaching them to the bicycle),
- scooters, provided that the diameter of the largest wheel does not exceed 30 cm or is less than 12 inches,
- bicycles with the front wheel removed, packed in a transport cover.
Bicycles with the front wheel removed can be packed in a special transport bag such as the TranZbag. All types of bags, regardless of manufacturer, are accepted, provided that the removed front wheel is stored in the transport bag and that the bag is easily transportable.
Procedure to follow
- Store your packed bicycle, with the front wheel removed, under your seat, above your seat or in the train access area.
- Make sure that your transport cover is properly stowed away, cannot tip over, does not obstruct other passengers, does not block the doors and does not pose any danger.
- Platforms marked with a bicycle symbol are reserved for the paid transport of bicycles and must not be occupied by bicycles stored in a transport cover.
- If you want your bike cover to occupy a seat, you must purchase a half-price ticket in addition to your ticket.
- You are solely responsible for your bike, as well as your other hand luggage.
