Can people who are resident in Switzerland also make use of these offers?

No, Swiss Travel System offers are only valid for passengers who are resident outside of Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein.

What are the advantages of the Swiss Travel Pass?

In addition to unlimited travel on trains, Postbuses and boats, the Swiss Travel Pass enables visitors and tourists from abroad to benefit from additional advantages:

  • Unlimited travel on panorama trains, including GoldenPass Express, Belle-Epoque and Panoramic (not including seat reservations).
  • A discount of up to 50% on other mountain excursions (Rochers-de-Naye).
  • Unlimited use of public transport in over 90 Swiss cities.
  • Free admission to over 500 museums thanks to the Swiss Museum Pass.
  • Included mountain excursions: Rigi, Stanserhorn and Stoos.

What are the Swiss Travel System offers?

With the Swiss Travel System, we provide tourists and visitors from abroad with advantageous tickets for travelling within Switzerland. The most important of these are:

  • the Swiss Travel Pass (a kind of GA Travelcard) for adults and for young people up to 26 years old.
  • the Swiss Half Fare Card (a kind of Half Fare Travelcard for a one-month period).
  • the Swiss Family Card (a kind of Junior Travelcard) for families with children aged between 6 and 16 years old. With this card, children can travel free of charge when accompanied by at least one parent. The accompanying parent must hold a valid ticket from the Swiss Travel System product range.
  • Please note: to receive the Swiss Family Card directly, add the child as a passenger under ‘Add passengers’ when you buy your ticket.
